He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jewell Sawyer Stephens; his daughter Lisa Renee Stephens Stratton; and his parents, Albert Henry and Maize Ellis Stephens of Georgia. He is survived by: his children, Carol Stephens Brown (Bob) and Glenn Philip Stephens (Carole); his grandchildren, Michael (Michelle), Lindsey, David Brown (Jaime), Andrew and James Stephens; and his great grandchild Houston Samuel Brown. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
