He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. George Louis Greene and Margaret Elsie Chindahl Greene; his wife Amelia Jane McFerrin of Cleveland, GA; his children, Jennifer Helen Greene-Rooks (Lynn) and Christopher Douglas Greene (Amy); his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Johnson Epps (Richard) and Laura Christine Wickiser (William); and his brothers, Douglas George Greene (Sandi) and Paul Eric Greene (Cynthia). He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID situation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family requests any contributions be made to Grace Calvary Episcopal Church, Clarkesville, GA.
