He was predeceased by: his son Norris Edward Sr.; his wife Linda Adams McEntire; his daughter Lynn McEntire; and his brothers, Ed Jr. (Edna McEntire), Walter Jay (Ruthelene McEntire), George Randolph (Ruth McEntire), Charles K. Sr. (Barbara McEntire), Harold McEntire and Larry McEntire.
He is survived by: his children, Connice Fry McEntire, Lisa McEntire Barrett (Randy) and Kimberly McEntire; his grandson Robert Gary "Robby" Barrett; his caregiver Sarah Durand; and his sisters-in-law, Illa McEntire and Nancy McEntire. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
