She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Jackson and Myrtle Irene Ellison Lovell; her former life partner Corbet York; her husband Corbett Hames, Jr.; her son Stanley York; her brother Hubert Lovell; her son-in-law Jerald Thomas; her sister Carol; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Popham, Gene Pardue and Donald Brown.

She is survived by : her son Gary Corbet; her daughter-in-law Velma York of Demorest, GA; her daughters, Cheryl Diane Thomas of Gray, GA, Rita Louise York Church (Anthony Church) and Pamela Christie Hendrix (Rickie Hendrix); her daughter-in-law Pam York of Gainesville, GA; her sisters, Sue Pardue and Jewell Brown; and her sister-in-law Rowena Lovell of Clarkesville, GA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
