She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson and Susie Dean Wilson; her husband Grady Heaton; her siblings, Mary Wilson Trotter, George "Buck" Wilson, Lamar Wilson, Carl Wilson and Roy Wilson; and her stepmothers, Hester Kelly Wilson and Dorothy Jones Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Grady Lamar "Simon" Heaton (Joann), Sherry Cook (Bradley) and Jennie Hallford (Keith); her grandchildren, Brandon Cook (Amber), Brent Cook (Nichole), Chad Heaton and Kayla Munsey (Justin); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cook and Ryder Cook; and her siblings, Carol Wilson and Tommy Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 US-441 BUS, Demorest, GA 30535).
