He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Wilkerson and Mary Baird Wilkerson; his son Hugh Wilkerson Jr.; and his brother John Wilkerson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Bates Wilkerson; and his children, Lee Wilkerson (Mary), John Wilkerson (Trudy) of Cornelia, GA, Jimmy Wilkerson (Noelle) of Newbery, SC, Holley Johnson (John) of Jasper, GA and Amy Brewer (Ben) of Kennesaw, GA. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
