She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bryan and Ida Hatcher Bryan; and her siblings, Doris Brown, Ethel Dykes, Bobby Bryan, Louise Mullis, Howard Bryan and Sheila Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Robert N. "Bobby" Mathews of Dexter; her children, Nicole Foskey Wann of Bogart, Denise Foskey Lane (Scott) of Eastman and Chad Foskey (Rena) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Alexandria Roberson (Eli), Abigail Wann, Ashley Wann, Parker Runyan, Cameron Foskey (Kelsey) and Jesse Foskey (Stevie); her great grandchildren, Chloe Foskey, Sophie Foskey, Isaac Foskey and Caroline Foskey; and her sister Marcia Weathersbee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (2605 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Dexter, GA 31019). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 2605 Mt. Carmel Church Rd., Dexter, GA 31019.
