He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel M. Harper and Mary Riggs Harper; and his adoptive mother Claudette Lunsford Harper. He is survived by: his sister Kathryn Pingel of Orange Park, FL; his niece Kristen Moreland (Scott); his nephew Tim Pingel (Denise) of King; his great-niece Emily Pingel; and his great-nephews, Daniel Moreland and Andrew Pingel.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dexter Baptist Church Cemetery (105 Line St, Dexter, GA 31019).
