With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bobby Welch of Dillard, Georgia, whose life came to an end on September 29, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Humphrey Welch and Grace Gunn Welch; his daughter Melaine Myers; his granddaughter Valarie Billingsley Welch; his great grandchildren, Cody Hudgins and Luna Rae Welch; and his siblings, William Welch, Junior Welch, Mary Jane Dickerson, Judy Moss and Elaine Lowery.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Welch; his children, Bo Welch (Jennifer), Andrew Welch (Jessica), Lynn Shedd (Dennis) and Kim Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Forrest Welch, Weston Welch (Bailey), Kerrigan Welch, Brendalyn Welch (Brent), Shanda Hudgins (Kevin), TJ Wilson (Kellie) and Josh Carpenter (Erica). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Chapel (898 US-441, Clayton, GA 30525). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church (895 Franklin St, Dillard, GA 30537). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery (895 Franklin St, Dillard, GA 30537).
