We are sad to announce that, on August 16, 2025, at the age of 72, Carolyn Chastain of Dillard, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Plenny Earl and Launa Norris Dowdle. She is survived by: her husband Leroy "Roy" Chastain; her sons, Jamie Chastain (Jennifer) of Dillard, GA, Michael Chastain (Emily) of Rabun Gap, GA and Kenny Chastain (Kim) of Franklin, NC; her sisters, Nell Goforth, Louise Williamson, Marie Brabson and Pauline Stiwinter; and her grandchildren, Bailey, Luke, Ben, Cale, Beth, Kaylee and Koda.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Coweeta Baptist Church Building Fund.
