We bid farewell to Hilda Carver McLucas of Dillard, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Hilda Carver touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster "Buck" Carver and Leona Thomas Carver; her husband Andrew McLucas; her siblings, JoAnn Chastain, Earline Benfield and John Zeb Carver; her niece Debbie McCoy; and her nephew Matthew Woodall.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Jane McCoy of Rabun Gap, Claudia Dodgins of Clayton, GA, Katie Woodall of Tiger, GA, Brenda Gass of Whittier, NC, Phyllis Ramey of Lakemont, GA, Faye Partain (Steve) of Ellenwood, GA and Kaye Collins (David) of Tiger, GA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (451 Warwoman Rd, Clayton, GA 30525). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Hale Ridge Cemetery.
