He is survived by: his wife Edwina Godwin Simpson; his children, Matt Simpson, Brittany Simpson Bromley and McKenzie Simpson; and his sisters, Sandra Simpson Wetherington and Ginger Simpson Forgione. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
