It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cellie Houman of Doerun, Georgia, born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Thomas Henddrix and Dora Shellnut Hendrix; her husband Jacob Julius Houman; her children, Larry Houman and Glenda Houman; and her granddaughter Keri Santiago.
She is survived by: her son Mike Houman (Eileen) of Doerun; her grandchildren, Lindsey Matthews, Travis Houman (Sabrina), Lorrie Houghtaling, James Houghtaling, Candy Sarna (Puneet), Cynthia Edmonds (Farrell), Larry Houman, Jr. and Carolynn Grossman (Richard); and her great grandchildren, Aidan Matthews, Jesse Matthews, Alyssa Houman, T. J. Houman, Michael Sheldon, Giya Sarna, Christina Devlin, Danielle Mann, John Isaacs, Sara Edmonds, Elizabeth Edmonds, Ian Edmonds, Charolette Edmonds, Christopher Colton, Jayson Colton, Caitlyn Grossman, Miguel Santiago, Nathan Santiago and James Houghtaling. She is also survived by 7 great-great grandchildren.
