He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Augustus Pye, Sr. and Minnie Rose Ruis Pye; his son Danny Pye; and his sisters, Mary Royal, Pat Patnod and Bonnie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Causey Pye of Doerun; and his daughters, Debbie Redding of Doerun and Sandy Moseley (Gene) of Covington, Georgia. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren; and multiple great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kimball Cemetery (3426 Co Rd 39, Kimball, NE 69145).
