She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Quinton Davis and Ella Mae Oneal Davis; her parents-in-law, Julia Dealvia Barrentine Adams and James F. Adams; her sister-in-law Trudy Davis; and her close friend Sue Smith.
She is survived by: her husband James Adams; her sons, James "Jim" Adams, Jr. (Yolanda), Mike Adams and Jeffrey Adams (Tracy); her siblings, Jimmy Davis and Barbara Summerlin (Shelvie); and her pet Sissy Lou. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church (231 Sam Sells Rd, Doerun, GA 31744). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
