He was predeceased by: his father Bishop Charles LaVaughn; his brother-in-law Wilson Gaskin; and his nephew Marchello LaVaughn. He is survived by: his wife Flossie "Tiny" LaVaughn; his mother Evangelist Inell LaVaughn; his children, Al Deshon Tripp (Deqala), Dr. Alton M. Standifer (Brittany), Quincy Rell Sands and Wayne Greene (Juanita); his grandchildren, TaNyia Tripp, Alton C. Standifer, Kenn'yah Sands, Dequavius Norwood, Kierston Starr, Shawn Turner, Lashantea Greene and Shanterria Kates (Dakota); his siblings, Charles Trent LaVaughn (Shirley) and Tara Stewart (AJ); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Gaskin and Mary Gaskin. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
