It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie John Arnold of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bobbie departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bobbie. Though Bobbie may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Bell Bullock Arnold and Bobbie Smith Arnold; his spouse Jean Carolyn Taft Arnold; his son Bruce W. Arnold; his son-in-law Ronnie Royal; and his grandson Brian Christopher Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia Royal of Lake City, Greg Arnold of Waycross, Tim Arnold (Laurie) of Nicholls, Gayla Arnold of Douglas and Allen Arnold (Kelly) of Douglas, Georgia.; his sister Ruth Grooms; and his sister-in-law Quay Arnold. He is also survived by grandfather to his 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
