We bid farewell to Carole D. Privette of Douglas, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Carole touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carole leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dorough and Lois Dorough; her daughter Christie Privette Gravette; and her brother-in-law Johny Richardson. She is survived by: her children, Shelly Collett (Wayne) of Powder Springs, GA and Kyle Privette (Shonna) of Villa Rica, GA; and her sister Sheryel Richardson of Austell, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
