It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarine Vickers of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Ricketson and Vera Strickland Ricketson. She is survived by: her husband James Vickers of Douglas; her children, Vanessa Johnson of Douglas, Marty Vickers (Jodie) of Douglas and Monty Vickers (Kaye) of Douglas; her siblings, Betty Horton of Brunswick, Raymond Ricketson (Sheryl) of Broxton and Ronnie Ricketson (Cindy) of Broxton; and her grandchildren, Tyler Castañon, Logan Vickers, Macon Vickers, Hollie Johnson, Rexlee Johnson and Bentley Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bushnell Chapel (1227 Bushnell Rd, Douglas, GA 31535). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
