She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anderson Owens and Lillie Lugene Owens; her siblings, Mary Owens, Betty Poole and Morris Owens; and her sister-in-law Trish Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Lawrence "Larry" Gurr of Douglas, Georgia; her daughter Kayla Hope Ward (Brian) of Douglas, Georgia; her stepdaughter Lisa Daw (Kevin); her grandchildren, Dawson Ward, Jayden Ward, Brimm Ward, Zachary Daw and Brayden Daw; and her siblings, Mildred Estes, Herman Owens, Faye Busbin, Bill, Troy Owens, Nina Whitley, Carole, Camilla "Bug" Owens and Albert Owens. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coffee Regional Medical Center Cancer and Infusion Center in Debbie's memory.
