He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Byrd Hursey of Douglas, Georgia; his daughter Kristi Hursey Greene (Michael) of Wray, Georgia; his stepsons, David Taylor (Candy) of Richmond Hill and Scott Taylor (Christy) of Alma, Georgia; his grandchildren, Meagan Bennett (Tucker), Mallory Vining (Gabe), Will Taylor (Annalise), Alexandra Taylor, Nathan Taylor (Emily) and Madison Dubberly (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Truitt Dubberly, Rowan Taylor and Summer Taylor; and his siblings, Art Hursey (Gail) of Alachua, Florida and Veda Powers of Townville.
