It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Harper of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Harper and Lola Thompson Harper; his son Ashley Harper; and his sister Dorothy Harper. He is survived by: his wife Sue S. Harper of Douglas, GA; his children, Sara Spivey (Jarrod) of Douglas, GA, Susan Harper and Bart Harper (Heather) of Stephens, GA; his grandchildren, Nathan Harper, Jordan Harper, Harper Spivey, Case Spivey and Landry Spivey; and his sisters, Margie Solomon, Carolyn Bland (Roy) and Joanne Ridley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carver Baptist Church (1080 Kamera Rd, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
