She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Albert Anderson and Malisa Hutcheson Anderson; her husband Billy G. Sweat; her son Billy Ray Sweat; and her sisters, Christine Summerlin, Betty Sue Stone, Allene Spivey and Brenda Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Morgan (Timmy) of Douglas, Wendy Graham (Stevie) of Douglas, Rose West (Ken) of Millwood, Peggy Sweat of Douglas and Malinda Najera (Erick) of Douglas, Georgia; her grandchildren, Adam Spivey (Aaron) of Nicholls, Zachary Batten (Jordan) of Jacksonville, Kelsey Tuten (Travis) of Dixie Union, Ethan Batten (Sarah) of Willacoochee, Robby West (Annastan) of Dixie Union, Ava West of Millwood, Alana Sweat of Douglas, Willow West of Millwood and Tucker Cowan of Douglas, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Harliee Jones, Mason Jones and Emma Spivey; and her siblings, Laverne Merritt of Alma, Margaret Davis of Pearson, Maxine Woodall of Atlanta, Geraldine Sewell of Sylvester, Carol Mizell of Pearson and Lou Annie Musgrove of Douglas, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel (305 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Arna Cemetery ~ Atkinson County (650 Co Rd 58, Willacoochee, GA 31650).
