With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doug Murphy of Douglas, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, V. George Murphy and Nettie "Dot" Murphy; his brother George "Phillip" Murphy; his wife Gale Woods Murphy; his children, Douglas M. Murphy of Hanahan and Krystle M. Skelton (Jason) of Wake Forest; and his grandchildren, George, Elizabeth Murphy, Peyton, Ava and Ella Skelton.
He is survived by: his significant other Summerville South Main; his sister Alice M. Collins (Danny); and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Murphy, Marie Lawson (Chris) and Shelli Merritt (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
