He is survived by: his mother Shirley Calhoun Day of Waycross, Georgia; his wife Alice Sheryl Daniel Duke of Douglas, Georgia; his children, Michelle Mizell (Jacob) of Douglas, Georgia, Lonnie C. Smith (Casey) of Douglas, Georgia and Tracy Lomax (Ricky) of Douglas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Lacey, Austin, Blake, Listi, Dion, Dylan, Logan, Acey, Cody, Jacob, Granger, Hunter, Megan and Sophia; and his sisters, Teresa Beckum (Dewayne) of Arlington and Tonya Horn (Austin) of Doerun, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel (305 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
