He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chapple and Bertina Stanley Chapple; his son Andre Chapple; and his sister Alice Terry. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Sutton Chapple; his children, Anthony "Tony" Douglas Chapple (Darlene) of North Carolina, Frederick Douglas Chapple, Jr. (Tracye) of Baltimore, Kevin Leslie Chapple of Washington, D. C., Valerie Lois Chapple of Jacksonville, Clarence Eric Leverette, Jr. of New Mexico and Bridgette Arnette Leverette of Douglas, Georgia; and his siblings, Joseph Chapple, Jr. (Astrola), Doris Feed, Bertina Roberts, Rudolph Chapple (Monica), Jerry Chapple (Rose), Phyllis Crippens, Delores Scott (Joseph) and Donald Chapple. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Harvest Time Church of God (902 Spring Oak St G Oak St, Douglas, GA 31533).
