She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Stapleton and Eva Stapleton; and her sisters, Lib Stapleton, Bonnie Conley and Inez Stallings.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Hickox (Leigh) of Douglas, GA; her great-niece Kaitlynn Johnson (Josh) of Douglas, GA; and her nephew Teddy Johnson of Douglas, GA. She is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
