It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Minix of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Minix and Nancy Grantham Minix. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Spivey (David) of Douglas, GA and Teresa Ann Vaughn (Tim) of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Dawn Moore (Keith), Amber Percell (Charlie), Brittany Disharoon (Rick), Patrick Spiviey (Haylee), Jamie Vaughn (Marti), Courtney Vickers (Michael), Zackery Vaughn (Kayla) and Hope Vaughn; his wife Merline Batten Minix; and his siblings, Virgil Minix, Jack Minix, Jessie Minix, Albert Minix, Agnes Harrell and Opal Anderson. He is also survived by 21 Great Grandchildren, Three Great Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
