With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Kennedy Jr. of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Kennedy and Jennie Touchton Kennedy; and his grandson Daniel James Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Trey Kennedy (Shana) of Douglas, GA and Heather Settle (Stephen) of St Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Savannah Renee McKinney, Ian Browning, Conner Kennedy, Kristen Settle Schnepf (Drew), Keagan Settle, Brayden Settle and Camden Settle; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle Schnepf, Charlie Schnepf and Thomas Schnepf; the mother of his children Kathee Kennedy of Maine; his brother Howard Kennedy; and his niece Suzanne Kennedy Huff.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
