With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Mathis of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Downey and Ethel Mae Mathis (Burnett); and his son-in-law Tommie Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Mathis (Denmark); his children, Ron Mathis (Audrey), Terri Carroll and Lori Stallings (Keith); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Kate), Patrick (Janna), Cory (Kelly), Daniel (Mandie), Bethany (Josh), Sarah (Jeremiah), Brett, Rebekah (Cameron), Jessie (Michael), Emily and Jordan (Abby).
