She is survived by: her daughter Ruby "Kay" Mejia (Marcos) of Douglas, GA; her stepdaughter Melissa Edge (Jamie) of Douglas, GA; her sisters, Willene Rigdon of Alma, GA, Vicki Sheree Kelly of Alma, GA and Karen Diane McCarty (Barry) of Alma, GA; her grandchildren, Hannah Danielle Guzman (Eutiquio), Tony Bustos (Emily Robertson), Marcos Mejia, Jael Mejia and Yami Mejia; and her great grandchildren, Liliana Ramirez, Jesus Guzman, Noah Guzman and Gabriel Guzman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chatterton Grove Holiness Baptist Church (527 Chatterton Rd, Nicholls, GA 31554).
