She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roscoe and Myrtle Evans; her husband George Thompson; her son Dean Allen; her siblings, Clarence Evans, Irene Gammon, Helen Strickland, Alma Payton, David Evans and Peggy Whitehouse; and her nephews, Robert Whitehouse, Larry Evans and David Payton.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Childers (Brian Keith); and her grandchildren, Alexander Bridwell (Blair), Sierra Childers, Silas Childers, Felicia Allen Beers, Cody Allen and Olivia Allen. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests all donations be made to the Coffee County Cause of Paws of Douglas, GA.
