He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Jowers and Eva Carver Jowers; his sisters, Evelyn King, Betty McKinnon, Julia Hutcheson and Ethel Davis (Thomas Jowers); and his wives, Carolyn Jowers (Brigmond) and Dorothy Jowers (O'Steen).
He is survived by: his son Dewey Jowers (Carrie) of Douglas, GA; his grandsons, Dewey Jowers Jr. and Nicholas Jowers; and his stepchildren, Pat Guthrie, Jackie Spivey, Stanley O'Steen, Henry Jowers (Linda) and John Allen Jowers. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
