He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Jowers and Eva Carver Jowers; and his sisters, Evelyn King, Betty McKinnon, Julia, Hutcheson and Ethel Davis (Thomas Jowers).
He is survived by: his son Dewey Jowers (Carrie) of Douglas, GA; and his grandsons, Dewey Jowers Jr., Nicholas Jowers, Henry Jowers (Linda) and John Allen Jowers. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Pond Baptist Church (944 Rocky Pond Rd, Douglas, GA 31533).
