He is survived by: his wife Irene Collins Blackwelder of Douglas, GA; his children, Joshua Blackwelder of Palatka and Patricia Campbell of Keystonehights, FL; his sister Beatrice Phiels of Palatka, FL; and his sister-in-law Doris Blackwelder. He is also survived by Four Step-Sons, One Step- Daughter, Ten Grandchildren.
