He is survived by: his wife Jennie Tanner Law of Douglas, Georgia; his children, Michael Batten of Douglas, Renee Williams of Douglas, Chad Ables of Douglas, Amy Ables of Douglas, Shane Ables of Douglas, Lauren Phillips of Douglas and Melissa Harper of Douglas; his grandchildren, Cam Pierce of Ocilla, Kel, Brittany Roberson of Royston, Raven, Matt Childs of Moultrie, Demie Ables of Douglas, Lake Ables of Douglas, Sam Ables of Douglas, Austin Futch of Fitzgerald, Seth Ables and Jacklynn Burkhalter of Broxton, Georgia; and his sister Carolyn Sandiford of Fitzgerald, Georgia. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
