It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Burnam Adams of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Burnam and Stella Mae Stone Burnam; her siblings, Billy Joe Burnam, Kenneth Burnam (PeeWee) and Carolyn Johnson; and her granddaughter Katherine Elaine Thomas (Katee).

She is survived by : her daughters, Donna McDaniel (Tom) of Athens, GA and Karen Huhuley (Ben); her grandchildren, Richard Bryant James and Byron Troyn Gibson III; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Mason James and Claire Lynne Morton. She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
