She was predeceased by: her daughter Tracie Lynn Steverson; her parent Opal Henry; and her stepson Ricky Steverson. She is survived by: her daughter Angel Steverson of Douglas, GA; her granddaughters, Logan Anderson (Jordan) of Denver, CO, Macie Sutton (Matthew) of Douglas, GA and Bailey Martin of Douglas, GA; her great grandchild Tracie Beth Sutton; her sisters, Linda Gayle Waters of Milledgeville, GA and Christine Garrett of Boston, MA; her nephew Lee Steverson; and her cousin Kim Arwood. She is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sims Chapel (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
