The memory of Vivian Taft Nicholson of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Vivian shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vivian farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cauley Taft and Vicey Taft; and her sister Thada Taft Harper. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn McKinnon (Jerry) of Cordele; her wife Jennifer of Willacoochee; and her grandchildren, Tony McKinnon (Kim) of Bixby, Ok, Jason McKinnon of Willacoochee, Ga and Matthew McKinnon (Jennifer) of Willacoochee, Ga. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren and several other relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Antioch Church Cemetery (3314 Sutton Rd, Pearson, GA 31642).
