It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alyce Dodson King (Douglasville, Georgia), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Fred King of Winston. She is survived by: her son Richard Dodson King (Kyle McWorter King); her grandchildren, Kalan King League (Josh) and Richard Miles King (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Liam, Ezra, Lennon League, Charlie, Adeline, Allie and Eliza King; her brother Joel Dodson (Susan); and her nephew Mac Dodson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery (8445 Ephesus Church Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tranquility Hospice or Douglasville First United Methodist Church.
