He is survived by: his wife Cathy Van Meter; his sons, Shawn Van Meter (Mary) and Shannon Van Meter (Yaneth); his grandchildren, David Fox (Becca), Sharon Moran, John Van Meter and Lillie Van Meter; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Olivia; and his brother Bill Blaylock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
