He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern William and Evelyn Agnes Schumacher; and his brother James Schumacher (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Brigitte Schumacher; his children, Manuel Schaefer (Carola), Zaniel Schumacher-Thalhuber (Rodney), Angela Rush and Monique Schumacher (Alejandro Meneses Toro); his siblings, Paul Schumacher (Sharleen), Michael Schumacher (Jennie), Sandy O'Mara (Garth), Sharon Pawloski, Deanna Wolschleger (Gerald), Joan Kirsch (Gary) and Kay Stomack (Wayne); his grandchildren, Nadine, Jason, Gary, Christine, Brock, Elizabeth and Brody; his siblings-in-law, Ilona and Norbert; and his siblings' children, Carina and Marcus. He is also survived by his Nieces & Nephews.
