With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolly Matthews Harper of Douglasville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubry Matthews and Ruby McCurry Matthews; her husband Earl Hall Harper, Jr.; and her siblings, Glenn McCurry Matthews, Robert Matthews, Faye Stubbs and Ramona Poag.
She is survived by: her children, Hal Harper (Pauline) and Karen Parmer (Dan); her grandchildren, Kelly Harper Moore, Kathryn Parmer Cottle (Chad Cottle) and Matthew Scott Parmer (Elizabeth Van); and her siblings, Cheryl Bentley (W. C. Bentley) and Randall Matthews (Maryanne Chastain Matthews). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
