Elizabeth Jarvis Obituary

We announce the death of Elizabeth Jarvis of Douglasville, Georgia, who passed away on August 28, 2026. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Curry and Mattie Pearl Curry; her brother Thomas Curry; and her daughter Shandon Gross. She is survived by: her husband Greg Jarvis; her daughters, Heather Rogers and Stacy Allman (David); her grandchildren, Madison Shuman (Mikey), Lizzie Rogers, Roy Rogers and Emily Allman; her great grandchild Harlyn Shuman; her brother David Curry (Kay); her sister-in-law Renee Curry; her mother-in-law Minnie Lecroy; and her close friend Joyce Boyette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to allergies, the family asks to please not send flowers, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darlene's honor to the American Cancer Association or Mount Zion Eagle Band Program using the links below.
