He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Thompson; his siblings, Mildred Ellerbee, Margaret Gaydon and N. F. "Corky" Thompson; and his granddaughter Jullian Amber Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy H. Thompson; his children, J. Todd Thompson (Allison) and Tina Occhipinti; and his grandchildren, Parker Thompson, Sterling Thompson, Connor Thompson and Madison Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and dear friends.
