He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston Jack Borders and Lattie Myers Borders; his sister Pauline; his brother-in-law Furman Prichard; and his sister Vera Patrick.
He is survived by: his brother Edward Borders; his brother-in-law Kenneth Patrick; and his nieces and nephews, Connie Lawson (Richard), Michelle Green, Elizabeth Lovins (Tony), April Borders, Donna Ingram, Ken Patrick, Tina, Tracy Arnett (Mark) and Tiffany Prichard. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews and many many great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Ai Church Cemetery.
