In loving memory of James Thomas Baker of Douglasville, Georgia, who departed this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 85. James Thomas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenoyx Purnell Baker and Flora Whitmire Baker; his daughter Rebecca Kay Taylor; and his siblings, Virginia Dobson, Robert Baker and Lenoyx Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Elsie Harris Baker; his daughter Angela Green (Steve) of Douglasville, GA; his son-in-law Stacy Taylor of Texas; and his grandsons, James Zachary Green and Colton Thomas Edward Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
