He is survived by: his sons, Paul Ward (Kristie) and Stephen Ward (Shannon); his grandchildren, Austin Ward and Avery Ward; his daughter Mona Folds (Michael); his grandsons, Daniel Folds, Andrew Folds and Benjamin Folds; his child Maletia Ward; his grandson Michael Ward; and his siblings, Johnny Tharpe, Judy Padgett, Laura Tharpe and Allene Couch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
