She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Truman "Red" Mason and Rosella Lawler Waldrop; her husband Leonard Stovall; her sons, Ricky Howard "Bubba" Hamrick and Charles Lafayette "Chuck" Hamrick, Jr.; her grandson Ricky Howard "Buck" Hamrick, II; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Loggins, William "Bill" Mason and Jimmy Mason.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki; her son-in-law Mike Taylor; her grandchildren, Colton Hamrick and Stacy Taylor; her great grandchildren, Sadie Hamrick, Hallie Hamrick and Madison Taylor; her sister-in-law Peggy Mason; and her niece Donna Alsobrook (Danny). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and so many close friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church Cemetery (5811 Central Church Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
