He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Solomon and Bertha Solomon; his siblings, Tommy Wynn, Roland Wynn and Charlene Pierce; and his son-in-law Greg Francis.

He is survived by: his wife Chris Solomon; his children, Rebecca Francis, Nathan Solomon (Lori) and Jessica Smith (Richard); his grandchildren, Jordan Allen (Nathaniel), Josie Francis, Landry Garrison (Caleb), Maclaine Solomon and Riley Smith; his great grandchild Ada Allen; and his brother Jerry Solomon (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
