He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hammock Smith; his daughter Shonda; his son-in-law Brett Meskimen; his stepchildren, Lora Grosh (Michael), Matthew Tatum (Heather), Georgia and Mark Tatum (Tammy); his grandson Ethan Meskimen; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Tatum, Luke Grosh, Kaitlyn Grosh, Luc Watts, Sadie Tatum, Christine Tatum, Cash Tatum and Ruthie Tatum; and his brother Harold Smith (Union). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
